(just some ramblin's)

paper napkin poetry
rhymes written down
just the way they be
poems written on paper scraps
& old road maps
stuck in my pocket
'till they find
their way home
there in the back
of my mind
waitin' for
the rhytmn
ta'dance with the rhyme
coffee houses & bar stools
paper napkin poetry
just waitin' ta' be
words from old fools
like me

That's a good one, Steve. I love the careless way it just falls together - as if it really had been jotted down on scraps of paper. The form fits the subject matter perfectly.
