A QUESTION OF WHY?

Can you hear the whispers scratching upon thy thoughts
A whimsical carousel of confusion trapped behind closed doors
Hear the myriad of voices echoing through the caverns of thy mind
An engulfing nebulous inside thy ear tonight?

An ocean of faces filling that cloudy sky
On the horizon anticipation dries thy moistened eyes
Alone we stand in a crowd of questions ... why?
I kneel to the emptiness of an unheard answer

Thy purpose a whisper of forgotten words
Thy reason a question of Infinite answers
Within the realm of sight reality is explained
Reality ... a view of what is thy masquerade

We dream ... we desire ... we find thyself within our life
Intertwining within each others’ aspirations of vision
Let the quiet embrace and grasp thee tight
Transform into a whisper and join the futility ... of existence
