See the man on the corner
Right there next to the kid with the
Baggy jeans
About ready to
Slide off his derriere
White cotton boxers
With blue diamonds
Hanging out the top
That man
He’s got something in his pocket
Look there’s a woman walking by
Jiggly and voluptuous
He’s whistling now
Little sweat breaking out on his brow
Him and the kid are high fiving
They’re feeling lucky she walked by
Yeah she really made their day
Look, look there…
He did it again
Put his hand in his pocket
And rifled something
Playing with that thing
Hiding there in his pocket
They keep looking over there
Across the street
For something
Or someone
Black car
Gold wheels
Cruising down the street
Kid on a bike riding along
Car lines up
The kid with the baggy jeans
And the one on the bike
Perfect symmetry
The car is firing
The man is firing back
Oh my god
Call the cops
Damn I know they won’t come
It’s not too late
Call the news
They’ll call the cops
Two kids
And a man down

Who needs the news when they can tune into your high voltage words? DAMN, what a write--unfolded like breaking news--brought vividly to mind--

Happens too much too. Especially in a big city. Well done, Super. Chilling in fact.
