A Little Soul

A LITTLE SOUL
A road to war now is paved
With the dealing of the cards
Soldiers standing over graves
The task I know was so hard

Innocent people today has died
Both sides of this war to blame
One really hurt so much I cried
Our world must feel this shame

I pray the image within my mind
Is only but a most horrid dream
I pray peace these soldiers find
With the memories of this scene

I watched while soldiers carried
One Iraqi child but six years old
Wrapped in plastic to be buried
Deep beneath the sand so cold

Upon the body sand was thrown
No roses or daisies could I see
There was no casket of his own
I could not even hear a melody

I know many soldiers had to cry
I know this broke many hearts
I felt the tears fall from my eyes
A mothers life was ripped apart

I could`nt hear a prayer being said
As the child was laid down to rest
But around the world one was led
God A little Soul is needing blessed

Good Morning, Thelma
Unfortunately many more innocent Iraq?s will die. I and almost everyone else underestamated their military. We may have to drop a big one on them!
