Warrior’s Kiss

My love, don’t turn your face from me
Your scars, a beauty, I’m blessed to see
For each one says that you survive
And back to me, you’ve come, alive

Your breath I breathe and passion soars
My body presses close to yours
Warm feelings stirring deep inside
Your soul with mine in grand collide

You kiss me here and you kiss me there,
Your hungry kisses everywhere
Your lips against my skin ignite
Come morning, gone to join the fight

Oh love, please trust, my heart is true
Each night in dreams I long for you
No other man can match the bliss
I share in you with just one kiss

So hold me close and tell me dear
You want me here, forever near
And in my arms, let love abide
And heal the scars you hide inside

I kiss you here and I kiss you there,
My hungry kisses everywhere
My lips against your skin ignite
Come morning, gone to join the fight

Welcome home, my warrior, brave
We share all things that lovers crave
My heart and soul now rapt with yours
Chase demons from those long-fought wars

As we cling to love renewed
The world outside seems so askewed
But in our lair of happiness
It all seems right with just one kiss

I kiss you here and you kiss me there
Our hungry kisses everywhere
Our lips each other’s skins ignite
Nevermore, you join the fight

classic drop, poet. not a word misused. a soldier with a woman like you waiting doesn't have to worry about jody getting his girl, to quote an old army cadence. hearts twinned, stay true...
