~To The Class Of 2003~

Only a few more years
Got to enjoy it today,
Because I know
It won't always stay.

We're growing up and moving on
Getting older all the more,
Thoughts of the future
Linger behind each door.

High school is coming
We may slipt apart,
Or may stay together
But together in our heart.

We are loosing that little child
The one thats deep inside,
The mask is coming off
Adults don't get to hide.

Only a few more months
The countdown has begun,
I'm so excited finally
To start this brand new fun.

Can't wait to move up and on
To start my new trip,
To cross that stage
Get that graduation slip.

We are loosing that little child
The one thats deep inside,
The mask is coming off
Adults don't get to hide.

Only a few more weeks
We are ready to go,
We want to open the curtain
Move on with this show.

We've been here long enough
We want to say good bye,
We are all dening
That we ever will cry.

We are loosing that little child
The one thats deep inside,
The mask is coming off
Adults don't get to hide.

Only a few more days
And we are finally free,
But now that its come
We don't want it to be.

Now that we are done
We want it back now,
Fly backwards in time
If only we knew how.

We can't go back
Must go ahead,
Try not to cry
As your name's being said.

It really is a good thing
That we are moving on,
It really won't seem so hard
Once we all are gone.

High School is the next step
But it feels like its the last,
Like we are leaving our childhood
Putting it in the past.

We all will cry
As we say goodbye tonight,
Not for fear of tomorrow
But for the lost past we fight.

We are loosing that little child
The one thats deep inside,
The mask is coming off
Adults don't get to hide.
