Allergy Alert
The body may react with things to which it is exposed,
And so it pays to learn about the hazards that are posed
By contact with your allergens, whatever they may be.
So lets inspect the strange effect you seem to have on me.
It starts with just the thought of you that gets my juices flowing.
I’m even told, by those so bold, my eyes get soft and glowing.
A smile will burst across my face like something’s on my mind.
And these are just the first of all the symptoms we will find.
If I should catch the sight of you my heart will start to pound,
And it will race at quite a pace as long as you’re around.
My limbs may start to twitch when I discover you are near,
It’s like you flip a switch that turns me on where you are here.
With just a touch my vital signs would soar right through the roof.
Of course, with all this going on I’m surly quite a goof.
If you should ever see that you are causing this reaction-
I’d have to make a plea for you to understand attraction.
The reason I’m susceptible to all these things you do,
You just might guess, but I’ll confess- I’m so in love with you.
If you will only stay with me these symptoms may subside,
Or maybe you will get them too and join me for the ride.
