I Must Admit

Just my point of view for a friend who is blind to love. It is a helpless feeling watching someone who is a friend cheat themselves of the depth of this wonderful emotion .

Written with love...SKR

I Must Admit
Susan K. Rowse
copyright 2003

I see the vision framed in a rainbow of happiness aglow
I feel the nature of the beast regale...ebb to flow
I know that jealousy leaves a void and that love suffers above
All Others
I know that lust is for teens who are growing with their flavors budding
I sense that man lingers far too long among the fruit of loving
The passions that come alive and are richer for the deeper meat
Spins a vortex of dreams to make us complete
I know that to love is emotional fruit to bestow
That for two to find the seed and make it grow
That these are gifted ones above the other's for their push and thought
Becomes a treasure often taught to those who love once forgot
I realize the heart is a powerful muscle and that its versatility is a mystery
I know that to love is a part of all mortal history
The dejavous of passion that spends itself upon a Sunday afternoon
Can come and go if you want but is best adorned, festooned
Upon the bed of treasures that some lust for and forget
For to love is a simple treasure for all... I must admit.

Beautiful sentiments well versed.
The sad truth is that for some, love brings with it pain that few can comprehend. Like a starving child given half a cracker, it awakens the hunger long since buried.

Dear Susan, You have to admit, without love we can survive. People like me love to care. But the intimacy is always a need.
Great Write, Susan.
