We fought and continue to fight,

For our freedom,

So donít try to make us,

Into anything less,

Than what we are.

This is America,

My ancestors shed their blood,

For this land,

This is America,

My great grandparents,

Waited on Ellis Island,

To enter this free land.

This is America,

A land of opportunity

My loved oneís died for this land,

This is America,

We pledge to our flag,

To one Nation Under God,

Now you think you can take this away from us,

Because one man,

Is throwing a childís temper tantrum

Because he does not believe,

This is America,

We fought and continue to fight,

For our freedom,

So donít try to make us,

Into anything less,

Than what we are.
