Dear God...

Dear God
I know you are busy and
Have so much to do
I have just one request
I want to ask of you
I have a little brother
He's only three years old
He's hurting and he's sick
Thats what I've been told

Dear God
Please heal my brother
Don't let him die
It's hard to watch Mommy
Hold him and cry
The doctor came this morning
He looked real sad
I couldn't hear what he told Mommy
But I know it was bad

Dear God
Send an angel to watch over
Him, please I pray
I hope you have time to listen
To what I have to say
Tears fall down, I just can't
Seem to understand
Please heal my little brother
Reach down and hold his hand...

Yes Linda Mae, you write from your heart. You write so well when using your empathic skills. This poem has meaning and depth. Freedom is relative. Remember. Do you know the Serenity Prayer. "God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, and to change the things I can?" A meaningful and deep prayer. So in the child who is dying above and in our own lives; we have a lot of accepting to do. Love you for your faith and your deliverance. This is who I know and who I care for. Good for you ! Angel of many!
