The Country Cafe'

A nice place to visit :)!

Jokes served daily at the country cafe’-
a heapin’ helping that brings smiles our way . . .
served well and stirred, sorrows roll, melt away.
Just a little sup of simplicity
renews a body, pure joviality.
Each word seems fresh and what delivery!
The cow spewed warm milk, the pig was a ham,
the chicks scrambled eggs for every fan.
The rooster tapped danced with a flourish. Wow!
The meat comes to your table, lets you choose
a double platter or the latest news.
The turkey’s triumphant--playing the blues.
Jokes served daily at the country cafe’
bellies go empty but the spirits sway.
Come along, join me. I can’t stay away!
