A bucket of salt seasoned with grace
can lick the biggest problem
A merry heart, sprinkled with joy
can melt them away and dissolve them
A pinch of love can soothe the hurt
An ounce of kindness to pave the way
A spice of laughter to lift you up
that will change everything that day
A cup of sharing, filling to the brink
A spoonful, of inspiring words
to raise you above the perils of life
and a bundle of joy to calm the nerves
A dice of giving to meet the needs
A table of goodness to spread some love
A bowl of cheer, to wipe the tears
that God has given us from above
A taste of happiness, showered with glee
to help restore the pains of life
this also can mend the soul within
for it's an answer to all our strife
Take pounds of mercy, mixed with truth
let it fill our hearts, through and through
allow the blessings of God to shower down upon us
so he can find favor in me and you
and if you blend them all together
you'll have enough, and then some more
It's a recipe for life to share with others
that's what these ingredients were given to us for
But here comes the topping from God's word
that will confirm what's needed within
and with a heart full of peace he brought relief
fo God gave his Son to carry our sins
