I spend a lot of time lately in front of my pc
Wondering when the words will come
I havenít chatted with anyone
I havenít written a poem, I have to force myself
To send a few emails saying Iím alive
To those few people who still seem to care
Yes you heard the no-no there
Its called self-pity and I hate it as bad as anyone
But Iím in my pity bag, firmly entrenched
I miss my boys, my buddy Josie, I miss Bill
And I miss Ed and Maria, I canít seem to even
Read much anymore, I miss all of you because
I really am missing you, Iím missing my life as it
Passes by in front of my eyes
And still the words wonít come
The damned words just wonít come
