Slowly at first,
And suddenly quicker,
You donít remember much now

We are watching you,
Slowly fade away,
Like the last leaves of autum,
Until slowly no more leaves fall,
And the treeís remain bareen, Your slipping away,
In much the same way,
Slowly at first,
And suddenly quicker,
You donít remember much now,
And when you do,
The memories are bittersweet,
And the loneliness is overwhelming,
So it is time to say,
When the pain is to great,
When you can no longer,
Stand the pain,
Go home,
To the Lord.

Reflection by Donna Lagone

Why did Rosie on her death bed asked me to promise to always keep her silver mirror in the family. What silver mirror and why?..
