I welcome you Holy Spirit
upon this vessel of mine
To bring a calm when the winds did blow
and you were right on time

Sending down a refreshing
so to give me a little more strength
O' thou sweet and Holy Spirit
with you there is no length

That you can't cover at any hour
it can downpour on the head to the feet
Like a shower pouring from heavens door
and there we did meet

Both heart and soul has felt your touch
moving within such joy divine
lifting me up, high above
giving peace all through my mind

You knew the hour when to come by
and in what, I would need
Now let me take this moment to thank you
for taking your time, to intercede

There is a sweet spirit in this place
now O' soul be very glad
For the lord's presence, descended upon thee
and broke every yolk you had

:::collapses:::: GIRL, when do you stop writing brilliant inspirational/religious poetry reflecting God's greatness? Is this an eternal gift? I'm thinking so. Congrats on another brilliant poem, dear Mary!
