To My Love

If I should never see the dawn again,
Still I have been the luckiest of men.
If fate should intervene to still my voice
All that I have created will rejoice
Unceasing- all this love that I have found
Keeps growing and will ever be around
For each new day will give to someone new
The miracle that I have found in you.
This love will live in what you have inspired,
My love for you long after Iíve expired
Will go on touching hearts and bringing tears
As people keep on reading through the years.
As good as any poetry can be
I look at you describing what I see
Creating these expressions of such love
There is no doubt theyíre coming from above.
Thereís never been enough that I could give
But this is love you know will always live
In tribute to the way youíve touched me so
With love that few will ever come to know.
So thankful that my life could be this blest
Each day Iím given you will hear confessed
The adoration pouring from my heart
That will go on long after I depart.
