Wherever we are, He will find us.

Down in the dumps,
thrown with the rubbish,
I'm feelin' sluggish.
Bustin' my humps
to get a smile
once in a while.
Life has its' bumps--
teardrops and laughter--
neither forever.
Sometimes luck slumps
and living seems drear
(friends are then held dear).

Down in the dumps,
listening to garbage,
towing worn baggage.
Sip gravy . . . lumps
will not slide easy . . .
it makes me queasy.
Trembling, I jump,
making a fine mess . . .
ooh what a soiled dress!
He lifts me up--
gives me another chance . . .
to live life, to dance.

Down in the dumps
come friends--one and all--
you make me feel tall,
chase away my grumps.
Life isn't easy;
ev'ryone's busy.
I offer friends, chumps
my pair of white pumps
to dance as ghosts bump.
How my heart thumps
that You came my way.
How long can You stay?

Danced barefoot in the night
down in the dumps
till peace, serenity,
pardnered up with me.
