who, what, where, when, why?

Who am I?
Who are You?
Who are We?
And why, why
does it all make me
want to cry?
What is life?
What is this world?
What are we doing here?
And why, why
does it all make
me heave a sigh?
Where am I?
Where are You?
Where are We?
And do we, do we see?
Do we really see each other?
Do we care enough for one another?
When will I,
When will You,
When will We know?
Really know what is true ,
who we are, me
and you?
And Why, why, why
must so many have to hurt,
to starve, to need, to... ?
I have no answers, do you?
Sensical and True?
Or, do you wonder, too?
As we, you and I,
All-- Only born
to die?
strange sorrows rain
pounding others' pain
down the hellish drain.
who/what/where/when/why?
and does it really matter?
it should. and so we try...
