The night sleeps when dawn arrives
and I crouch anxiously
with that fateful reality,
nocturnal orphan,
casualty of love. I surrender to the moon,
submissive and slippery.
Silence...
My faith,
each day,
slowly reaching insanity,
while I wait in the shadows.
Seeds of loneliness
aspiring to create kingdoms.
Archaic love,
without time or horizon.
Even in my depths
I look for you,
From the silence of these impure sheets,
without light or perspective.
My love,
why do you sleep?
Legions of stars persue me,
mystery of the unattainable.
To Love...
Love,
love discovered in a poem,
my love that dreams,
like I have never dreamed,
like you have yet to dream.
