Sweet and gentle angel,
A gift from heaven above,
Only a few chosen,
They suffer for love.
Tender loving angel,
Holding your hand with care,
Knowing that maybe tomorrow,
You will not be there.
One smile,
You have given to me,
And yet so much more,
Life leads me on, to an unknown shore.

My wings are heavey,
A burdening load,
Balancing, between righteousness,
And the reality of love.
I hold your hand,
Your heart beat I feel,
With every breath you take,
My wings, begin to peel.
With every smile, I share with you,
I become more mortal,
Please, my darling,
Don't stop loving me,
Before I die, in my tomorrow.
