peaceful breezes
bring thoughts in a gail
the weight of warmth
burns like that of a thousand ideas
hot pokers straight from the fires of the mind
even in the most mild of temperments
i am prison to a tantrum with in my head
or perhaps my heart
for one always over rules the other
on the peaceful observatory stroll
my thoughts race in a flow, no a cascade, or rather a journey
for it is not as smooth a path as water takes
it is in the calmest hours
that i can not still for the incessant rush of words, of images, of feelings, coursing through me, as if infected in my very blood
and itching
just beneath the skin
but it is there that they, that i, that they, are trapped
no outlet but for rare lucid seconds
these noble, most prized, most valued, most worth imagings become my constant torture
and yet they are my only guides and only lonely companions in the blindness of my waking days
for this i hold them most dear and most lamented
in breif reverential moments
they grant me pity
and let me, allow me
to release but a little
to ease or maybe just to remind my always troubled
always captured

Bella, super write. The peace you seek is well within reach. Have faith and a stong heart.

Bella, the battle rages within for possession of yourself. You will win I pray. Strong poetry. Very deep. Bill

Morbid introspection, is something I do, I know these feelings well, hope you find a path to peace, and soon, pax vorbiscum..
