Along the thorned hedge

I walked
Along the thorned hedge
Looking at
The blooming red roses
And pale pinnk tulips
Intertwined
With dark emerald ivy
Along the thorned hedge
I walked
Watching
Yellow gold and onyx black
Butterflies
Flit and flutter
Through the air
Watching
Red breasted robins
And pale blue jay's
Making their nests
Along the thorned hedge
Here I walk
Trying to find
Peace.
