Then they rouse forth from the sod and reached for the sun Knowing their time on the earth now was done Singing praises they did as they reached heavens gate Thankful they made it here before it was too late Souls on a journey in circular time as though Stuck on a Ferris wheel with no spare time Optimism among them died from the start As the roulette wheel called life tossed them about Thankful and tired they laid down and died Ready to journey back to heaven�s side Seeming like forever till woke by the brilliant glow Pulling them back to the place they knew as their heavenly home Then they rouse forth from the sod and reached for the sun Knowing their time on the earth now was done Singing praises they did as they reached heavens gate Thankful they made it here before it was too late
