What have I accomplished in this life,
Filled with hardships, toil, and strife,
Where my friendship is worth pennies,
In a world filled with millionares and fools.
My honor is shed along with my pride,
I'll hop on the wagon and enjoy the ride,
My life without friends is also a life,
Filled with meaningless thoughts and rhymes.
I meet other people but it's very hard,
To live out your life as a traveling bard,
You meet few that you can trust,
And even less that you can love.
I once knew of people who loved me for me,
They were my ship on this life's rockt sea,
But now i feel very alone,
Like I have no one in this life.
So I'll travel the land and tell my thoughts,
My voice raspy, my skin stained with ink blots,
Tell of the ones I used to love lots,
Who now haunt my heart and my soul.
Although my poetry sometimes heals my wounds,
Today it rips them up with monsoons,
Of tears from the thoughts of a life I knew,
And fears since it's time that this caged bird flew,
Here's my shot to start anew,
An adventure offered to many, but accepted by few.

|Danielle, nice to meet you. We share similar lives. I must warn you though. Be prepared to bleed your emotions all over the screen.
And when you do you will find memories buried so deep you wished you never unleased them from their sheath of invisibilty. But from the din within you will find solace. This I can assure you.
