This man,

Like a Dark and Angry God

I pray to on my knees,

Wondering if he can ever be pleased…

His love a drug I can’t live without-

His eyes a prison I can’t escape,

Even if I wanted to…

His body,

Chiseled from stone,

His eyes,

Hard and cold,

Watching every move I make,

Won’t leave me alone…

Gazing out through dark green orbs,

Carved in a face I can’t forget…

He is all I need,

A feast my heart

Craves to feed upon-

A dream captured in a storm

Of emotion so strong,

That I cannot sleep

Without seeing his image

In my darkest hour…

Revealing for all to see,

A base desire that resides deep

Within my twisted heart…

A Dark and lovely God,

I Can’t help but love…

God, Demon, or Man Beast-

Does it really matter?

Cut me, make me bleed…

My blood is yours to drink-

Kiss me,

Suck the moisture from my soul-

You are the only God I know.

The only man I could ever love,

The only thing that could save me,

From myself…

This God of mine,

A Dark Lord who lay dreaming,

When he heard his lowly minion screaming;

Came and plucked her from the grave,

And looked at what was left to save…

A child scarred, bruised and bloodied,

But brave enough to survive the fall,

With courage to live after all…

And you, Dark God,

Do you claim her to be your Child Bride,

Or is she just another slave for you to sacrifice

On your altar of Dark Offerings…
