From what I’ve been told and as far as I can recall ,
It seems I came here alone .

With a paddywack on the backside,
This poor wee baby was crying on my own .

My Mammy kissed my tears away .
The world said come on grow up as fast as you can .

How swift and tender were my childhood dreams ,
and how quickly the child became a man .

No more Mammy’s kisses and no more Daddy’s smiles .
It seems the good times never last .

A man must stand alone .
So alone I stand in a world that continues to ask .

Are you happy in yourself and do you remember
all the good things life has shown ?

Where has the child gone ?
My but you have grown so fast ?
Was it hard growing up alone ?

Ah, but the child is there, even if it's just a gesture. Unleash that child.

I enjoy the questions you have put here
