a farewell....

There is no love in hearts of men and women.
When one perceives its birth in any of us
Mere trailing vapor is the mark it leaves,
Perceptions morphed into non sequiturs.
How can a surge between reality
And obstinate desire that punishes
Its own existence for a lowly birth
Be seed for a mature shading oak?
Perhaps the wisdom of one’s years late learned
Holds back one’s plunge into a dark abyss
Until it proves its sacred indulgence.
But youth through paranoid impatience
Perhaps can’t hear the prelude to magic.
We come into this world and leave alone.

Final Sonnetina

Tamino from Bavaria, Pamina from Korea,
Both artists, met in West Hollywood~
I sang at their wedding last Saturday
(I had stopped singing opera a year ago)
I sang Tamino’s “Magic Flute” love aria
By Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
When I die I wish to be buried
In a common grave to honor him
The Lover of God the only Real Lover.
And the rest must be silence.

Anthony is this as dark as it gets. If so just sit on your hand and wave a finger. Your poetry is hot and love forgot to hand you it's meaning to take the darkness away. Good effort ... now take off the blinders and let off steam. Adult it is from now on at AD. Lead the wave for children like me. Ha Ha Ha. Bill Murray

... lest we forget:

"Out of the night that covers me,
Black as the pit from pole to pole;
I thank whatever gods may be
For my unconquerable soul.

In the fell clutch of circumstance
I have not winced nor cried aloud.
Under the bludgeonings of chance
My head is bloody, but unbowed.

Beyond this place of wrath and tears
Looms but the horror of the shade,
And yet the menace of the years
Finds, and shall find me, unafraid.

It matters not how strait the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate;
I am the captain of my soul.”
