Unseen Angels

Have you ever heard the wind whisper in your ear?
Or felt a tingle in your spine?
Or seen a graceful landing of butterfly?
Or felt a gentle breeze upon your cheek?
These are all signs of unseen angels, that we meet.
The loss of a loved one,the tears we cry.
The selfishness that fills our hearts, on that day we must mourn.
Always remember they are angels reborn.
Though they are unseen, they are there.
Watching over us with every moment to spare.
We pray to the heavens above, to bless us with wealth and love.
Wishing to have their loved ones returned.
In times of darkness and death.
We are selfish and inept.
We visit the place they are laid to rest.
Always in our minds thinking the pain with be less.
We bring them gifts and flowers.
We feel safe and secure.
We share with them memories.
We bring our friends and families to see them there.
We tell them of the stories,so they feel sorry.
Even after years of being gone,we still fight to stay strong.
We still cry when a song comes on the radio.
It seems we will mourn forever.
The saddness never goes.
Death is nature's ending to what we call life.
The ones we leave behind, will suffer pain and sorrow.
These people don't see a better tomorrow.
They long to have their friends and family back.
The ones that are laid to rest, go on to heaven to become angels of white not black.
They fly high above our homes and hearts.
They are always with us, they never part.
They give us hugs, that we can not feel.
Though they are unseen ,they are surreal.
They embrace us when we cry, they smile when we are happy.
They love us unconditionally.
So next time you begin to weep remember the unseen angels are there to see.
When you think time is worth giving up, just think they are here with me.
Isn't that enough?
Don't be sad they're gone.
Don't carry a selfish heart.
Rejoice in the time you shared.
Make a brand new start.

Dedicated to all those I've lost both young and old. I miss you
