This is a masterpiece. It has made me cry.
You have a unique talent, Connie.

|This poem reminds me of the song "Concrete angel" that I've heard and finally saw the video on today. Haunting yet beautiful, like our world we live in, bittersweet all mixed up together. I am Grateful we have hope that is based on truth.|

|OK, I must admit, I don't let much get to me these days, but this one did. I was right there with you the whole way. You woove your words skillfully... "She brushes down the blades of grass
as though smoothing his bed,"
... absolute genius.
This is print and keep material.

|This is so beautiful and moving, Connie. The loss of a child is the hardest loss to overcome. Thankfully, we will all meet again on the other side of Love's Pearly Gate someday. I'm sure this poem will comfort many, especially those who have suffered such a loss.
Fantastic work from such a kind soul!
Take care, my friend....
