Lips I listened to
Now, silent and distant
Pen that scribe
Now, resting dry
Chats I loved
Now, I am alone
You used to send me lines
Now, I sit idle
One click here, one click there
Now, my screen is blank
If only, you given me a picture
Now, I would have been inspired
If I were inspired
Now, Of you, I write about
You said, you be home soon
Now, alone I sit, under a full moon
You never kissed me
Now, I wish you did.

I read this 3 times...then just sat and thought on touched me...then I read the reviews....and your and I are New Yorkers (i've since moved) but we have a unique way of talking, we have a pace different and intonation thats very individual.....and I read this with that voice....and did not find it lacking!!!
I loved this!!!

Oh William...those kisses that we never got...those touches that we all pined for and those dreams that keep us searching...well...they sure make great poetry. I admire your energies. Mine wane a little and i disappear from my own needs to be alone . Afterwards i come back here to my true friends. Thank you for being here for me too.

Love and peace,

This was good, but,
Now I think maybe some of the word usage could be cleaned up to make the flow smoother... I'm not suggesting you can't write in your own dialogue but some of the seperations and things like "I be" just don't fit stylistically with the rest of the work. Only my humble opinon :). Bravo.
