I don't have to attend every argument I'm invited to.
~Author Unknown~

~~~SCHIZO ISLAND~~~
I've bit my tongue, so many times
And looked away, as tho I'm blind
Complacence was the mask I wore
While drifting off to calmer shores
I found a isle free from guile
Where I could chill out for awhile
And there I met, someone like me
Whose voice I heard...but could not see
And we had talks...
And shared our thoughts...
On so much did WE agree!
Then one day.... I realized......
The friend... I found....... was ME!
Viva the "inner voice". One of things I like about this poem is that it has a happy ending.
LOL at James David... THIS was clever. Sometimes the best friend in the world we all have and know nothing of when we think we are so lonely is just simply ourselves. Lady....you just crack me up. If it feels any better...I totally relate...LOL!
Thanks,
Tersa
