Everyone has something that will come to take them home.

The music is marching in me
In the Scottish bagpipes
Of the memories past
Climbing the hills and valleys
In the hailing of sounds
With drum rolls of pride

The marchers are coming
To remember loved ones
Of those departed
Oh bagpipes wail for your angels
Let them rejoice in the dance

For those gone will ride the wind
In the notes that reach in
So softly as to mist our eyes

Oh Scottish music wail ever so loud
As to bring such an internal memory
So that when it is my time to go in style
Oh then Scottish music ride with me
With the trumpets last call

And march me back from my beginning
So I can rejoin my maker
And come down in another march
To add my sound to the next
Blessed one
