I Await Her

I yes, await her soft whisper upon my neck
Before quill fills my hand
For my words stand small not tall
'Tis her touch that softens and wets
The hard heart of all

My words feeble, yes withered not refined
'Tis her mantle cast, lays my words in robed fine
Linen and satin all draped and arrayed
She scatters my heartbeat in sea breath spray
Her breath my deliverance from enemy untold

My words lean of wisdom
My eye dull of age
'Tis her words that sparkle
Birthing heart voice to stage
Her breath whispering excellence yet to unfold

No Kings bark directs her
She roams free upon fire supreme
Riding nightwinds of passion
And sun rays on beam
Her whisper the moon, reflecting her glow

When she comes and undresses my heart yes undone
She resurrects words once left unsung
She raises my quill in salute to her
Her breath I am branded in ember
Like a wick amidst fire

Her blaze doth transform me
In spirit untold, she softly unwraps me
Caresses and cradles my cold
She's bathes me in mystery
My quill to be told.

Yes, pure...that is your pen, to leave it's mark in the most exquisite strokes. Not one word out of place...fluid grace!

Rodney: How does one keep from melting into your words? your visions, so pure?.. such harmony of beauty and sensitivity.. this is a lucky woman, Rodney, to have such as this placed in her heart.. the romance in a woman's soul longs for what you say.. this is utterly breathtaking! katy.
