Death

This poem is about death/suicide. It came to me last night so I wrote it down. Don't worry, I know it probably sucks.

Ash to ash and dust to dust
I tell you this because I must
Sometimes the pain is so hard to bear
I feel like my life is based on fear

It isn't easy, believe me, I know
Especially when you feel you should go
Take the long vacation, I think you know where
Even if death is something to fear

At any time my life could end
Does anyone have advice to lend?
Please, tell me what I should do
I feel like my life is only a ruse.

Hi young lady, glad you're here writing! Pain is a dreadful experience, but I'm hoping that you will write lots of expressive poems here, not necessarily about pain or death, but hopefully about the things that you love, that you see, about your feelings and your surroundings!!! This may help to take your mind off some of the more depressive happenings in you life!!! Good poem, I get your message. Keep writing!

Well done.
Kinda sucky for Mother's Day. But still a good poem. [smiles]
