A New Love

The pain of losing a love to another.
Pain, sharp stabs, needle like jabs
Targeting my poor broken heart
Next my head, frizzled, brain dead
All this and only just the start
Mind in spin, situation no win
Can create no logical thought
Too upsetting, tried forgetting
Losing my inner battle fought
You miserable too, Iím more blue
Even if I know itís for your sake
Letting you go, seems big no
Sure I making a massive mistake,
Of you thinking, feel Iím sinking
To a place seen once before
Deeper in mire, toward Hellís fire
Gaping hole appearing in floor

Good write on a painful subject..
|Reviewed by Jessica Stanfield
|What a powerful write! The situation is sad, but the poem that it brought about is wonderful! Good job!
