Alot of people write about love. A few even write about intercultural (aka interracial) love. Only a scant few will write about intercultural breakups. Here goes...

when the drama you expected doesn't happen
and looking over shoulders seems insane
when you realize the arrogance of sending me away
when i'd have gone back
to being just your friend again

when you want to talk about the latest story
by what's'isname that author that you read
and you have no one around you who knows if it's really good
but in their ignorance
they've wholeheartedly agreed

you know where to find me

when all the girls who bothered to take notice
have gotten what they wanted from your love
and discarded you just as you wanted since you picked them cruel
and then their laughter
rings in your ears from above

whenever you get tired of being ugly
the ogre in their "merciful" embrace
and wish to be held or just hang out with someone who can see
the beauty in your form
beyond the template for your "race"

you know where to find me

but first you have to see through your illusions
in order to gain entry to the path
to get me or at least someone like me in your life
you have to be free
and keep in check your wrath

and when you've read a story by a writer
whose interest are not to sell more books
but tell the truth from points of view of outcasts with real scars
from actual violence
you will know where to look

This reminds me of the Oprah show where they discussed inter racial marriage. There are so many conflicting views on the subject of intercultural breakups, which you express well. Dynamic and thought provoking verses.

I love you more now than I did before. This is wonderful. I have one that I am terrified to post like this. No one is ready for it though ;) It's good too. This is even better! FANTASTIC!
