i stood there naked
and my reflection quickly caught my eye
and bare of inhibitions
and free from guilt
i was satisfied.
my heart still aches for passion
but it's settled
for either passions sake or peace,
and whether just for memories
or what's outside the door
all of those are mine to keep.
i looked into the mirror
and all i saw was me
no shadows of lost desire
no heartbroke shattered glass.
i looked into the mirror
and all i saw was me
and i was all i needed
at last.

Beautiful Flower! You see so clearly with deep insight. You are fortunate to get this inside look at yourself from the mirror. I only see doubt and lonliness when I look at it. Bill

Wonderful. Sometimes it takes forever to realize all we need is a belief in ourselves to work wonders. Bravo.
