Can't Calm The Seas

Grief has limits, whereas apprehension has none. For we grieve only for
what we know has happened, but we fear all that possibly may happen.
~Pliny the Younger~

CAN'T CALM THE SEAS

There's just not much I can control,
My hands are grasping air
The more I need to calm the seas....
I sink in my despair
Will NOT borrow bygone sorrows
They're dust upon the wind
And yet I can't help looking down....
As my tight rope walk begins

After "Madness," thought I'd check a little futher. I am intrigued by the recurring tightrope theme. With these two poems spaced some apart, am curious if you are aware of it. Vicky
