On the surface of the bay Angels play Deep in a blue basin Finches weave sails In the adolescent Morning light On steps of stone An attempted capture Spilling black ink Poplars applauding In cool morning air I speak in clouds Far away, nearer the red rim of the sun Birds sway swirling We praise the Maker, by nature.
