Well, since I cannot afford a memebership at this point in time, I'm going to have to say goodbye to all the people at the Den who have been and contunie to be very special to me.. I am sorry that I am not able to stay, but my funds do not allow any "extra" money to spend at this time. :(
Although I am not ready,
To venture this world alone,
There is no way for me to stay,
Though I have not yet fully grown.
And when you think of me,
I hope I left my mark;
One good and wholesome,
In this world so cruel and dark.
When words come to words,
And in the end I depart,
I hope that you all know,
This place will always be in my heart.
Without the tools to keep me in place,
I find myself helpless and lost,
For I feel I'm in a losing race,
With my poetry at the cost.
Parting with the world I've come to love,
Will be the hardest thing I have ever done,
And with tears in my eyes,
I look back at all the fun,
And start to realize.
Realize that this place is part of me,
And I wish that I wasn't pushed away,
But I guess I've spent all my time;
Over-thrown my growing stay.
Parting is such sweet sorrow,
Yet in this case there is no sweet.
My inspiration expires tomorrow,
And who knows next when we'll meet.
Until next time,
I will still come visit,
My stay here was sublime,
I hope to see you in future years,
Until then, Cheers....

|Oh, my dear.. I'm struggling with my budget too.. I can't bear these goodbyes.. Your poem here speaks for so many.. I'm just sick about this.. DAMNED MONEY! Can you come back? I read what Eileen wrote above.. could it be good news? Stay strong.. In the end, our poetry is a part of us as much as breathing.. its the friendships that are the saddest loss.. please don't let them be.. God, I never wished to be rich before.. but if I were........... Be well, katy.|
