Past Recast

Some days I would like to fade away,
Die like the daylight in winter.
Life, before, an unreal memory,

More a dream. I hardly remember
Being, seeing a child,
I think, though I’m not sure

Feeling full-fledged,
An adult with the given trip wires
At six, I was old,

Too old for the knee socks and skirts,
Innocent ribbons, prepubescent skin.
It happened. I did die, yet,

Somehow, in some ways
It didn’t happen at all.
So not funny,
What the mind does.

Ciao...

Janet Caldwell

G'day to you!
I'm just astounded firstly, so a review is hard to write when your mouth is to the ground and your head is like, "Whoa." Loved the collabration and it's very very satisfying to the reader.

Lots of Love

This is very poignant. It can hurt sometimes to keep looking back more than forward. Well-expressed feelings here....
