chinasky sweatshirt
and a grumpier old man attitude
in my tendencies
i'd bear this white belly
in the sun
careening down or lounging
on hills
until red
like a drunk
in the face--
swilling down sips
from paper-bagged bottles
and belching
decidedly unladylike
while not giving a flying...
high, leering at
younger boys
i'd be thrown in jail over
if moms had their say
(dads secretly pine and cheer me
on with their eyes)
i'll say i'm 30 now
until it really happens
in preparation of that
culture shock,
and in the meanwhile,
i'll hold tight
to all of my
role models.
