The clouds built a castle
a dragon, a sail boat
the storms collapsed
and sank

Lightning bolts singed
a lock from fallen knight
whose sword cut both ways
and bled

Rain leaked from the wound
flowed into a cloudy ravine
a heart, an arrow
the archer bowed
in bright red

The sun disappeared
taking the clouds away
with it the threat of storms
Thunder clapped
instead

The clouds built...

splendid write Dale!!

When the air becomes heavy
With impending attack
And visual electricity
Fills the sky
Followed by the crash
Of displacement
One…
One - hundred and two…
One - hundred and three…
One - hundred and…
I count it out
Just to see
How close it was
I let droplets
Of rain fall onto me
And wonder
How it will feel
When the powerful
Lightning
Finally
Hits
