I'm just merely me and always will be. Art by me.

Iím a mere Volkswagen
surrounded by Lincoln Continentals

a mere little drip drop of water
overrun by mighty flowing rivers

a mere outhouse
surrounded by towering skyscrapers

a mere dirt road
in the way of super highways

a mere small twig
shunned by magnificent oak trees

a mere miniature poodle
torn to shreds by a pit bull

a mere self employed individual
almost crushed by the big IRS

a mere burning unselfish husband
placed in a big pot and put on the back burner

a mere piece of dry chocolate cake
covered with no frosting

So it goes,
Iím just a mere sand pebble
in a world of big ass boulders

It is the mere humble pebble that always catches my attention . The big ass bolders tend to flatten you out. Fantastic write and your artwork is exceptional. I enjoyed your play of warm and cold colours. My friend, you have outdone yourself this time!
