Inspired by Tony, I gave it a try.........

I can feel the moonlight
on my face
like a cold sword
cutting its way through my window
turning my blanket into ice.

No sleep will come to me tonight.

I feel restless
exhausted
unloved
useless
alone in my misery.

Why did I let it happen
that he made a fool out of me?

His love had lifted me to heights
beyond time and space,
he had turned me into the queen of grace
transferred fern into roses
fear into pride
reluctance into curiosity for life

I wanted him to stay forever
but he left me!

Are all men of that kind
or is there one out there
among all those human beings
who is worth it
to let him move into the residence of my heart
to give and receive
what money cannot buy:

True love ?!?!?

Hi Serenety, Wonderfully done!! It should have been graze, but grace was a fine substitute. The object of the challenge is to be creative. Of which, You certainly were!!

You did very well on this one...just one tiny mistake.....(grace (goodwill- devine love)was suppose to be "graze" (touch-brush)...that all depends if Tony did not make the spelling mistake in the firts place...okay...then I apologize for the correction..!!

Excellent Serenity, I hope you can assess what caused your problem in your relationship, before going into another one...it should help you beware of making the same mistake, and gettting hurt again. Great write

Hope it isn't true. Waxes more of anger than of poetic justice.

Serenety....you have a gift! You can use words in an amazing fashion. Wow! I doubt if anyone else can even come slightly close to handling the challenge the way you have. What marvellous potential you have. You can meet greater challenges, and meeting the one placed inside your heart is not that difficult is it? It is only a matter of elevating beings ... he down and you up. What power you allow someone is all they have. And it can be decreased or increased when you choose. You are too sharp to let yourself be taken in. Rise to life's challenge. It's "up up and away in my little red balloon." Then a million balloons will follow. Bill
