Dream fades to brutal light
Brain sends primitive signals to body
Body stands
Gains balance and footing
Awareness now
Start day
Automatic functions fire
Routine commences
Morning ablutions
Eat the breakfast
Drink the coffee
Go to work
Throw the boxes
Return home
Shower and eat
Rest
Wake
Walk back to second shift
Drink more coffee
Throw more boxes
Return home
Eat
Observe television
Drink liquid painkiller
Sleep
Repeat
Repeat…

Christopher,

I really thought my way through this one. No matter what we do in life, it's the same, day after day. You captured that so well in this poetry. You captured the mundane thing we call living!

Bla! Is that it? Life is so boring, isn't it?

Okay, I won't tell you to get up and be happy. I just did!

Have a great day!

Lots of love to you,

May Lu a.k.a. Sandie Angel :o)

..mundane repetition has a good side to it...giving you TIME to THINK.. BLESS it and make wondrous USE of it....there ya go Chris!!!

Torture to a soul! I hate the run of the mill. This is a good boring way to look at like. Excellent job.

Thank you,
