An alternative rock anthem for all the "wenches" out there (self included) who've been pillaged by emotional pirates.

Everything you said you weren't
It turned out that you are.
Player playing f***ing games
The show of your own star.
Trifling and trivial
There's nothing there to see.
All this time I thought you bright
You've been reflecting me.

Chorus:
You only gave me
Something better given to myself
You never loved me
If you're willing to sit me on the shelf
You only touched me
To make yourself significant
But you are nothing...
Nothing...
NOTHING!

Everything I gave to you
I gave because I cared
I should have known something was wrong
'Cause for the whole relationship I was so scared
Afraid to say the wrong thing
Afraid to hold you too strong
Afraid-afraid-afraid
That this would happen
And you would be gone.

But now that it has come
I madly laugh throughout all of my tears
My happiness abounds
In tandem with the pain of wasted years
The joy of freedom rings
With pawn shop doors and first month's rent today
I would run faster but there's
Nothing boy from which to run away.

(Chorus)

You are speaking so clearly to my heart, your poetry is stunning in its pain and raw emotion, I am truly just blown away..I loved this:

You only touched me
To make yourself significant
But you are nothing...
Nothing...
NOTHING!

Somehow, I think we are talking of the same person! (ha ha)

Excellent expression here,
