Radiant Night
a poem by María Cristina Azcona

The moon  overwhelms the night with radiance...

Iridescent face in a  voyage to self esteem.

Her beauty is a dazzling swan at dance

While golden sun is involved in glorious dreams.

The moon lets fall down a tear of joyfulness

And stares admired to her own figure.

The sun gives her a glance of tenderness

He is now in love with her till times endure.

Calmly, sweetly, moon bathes into the clear water…

Fishes encircle her with speedy tails

The sun  is now reigning, he has the power.

She disappears under her veils.

Earth is in silence, quiet the winds,

Suddenly a noise breaks the harmony

And aeroplanes start to unfold the wings..

A war is  beginning  and sadly,

Someone will die before this eve.
