Life is like a rainbow with all
the characteristics that we know
Start at the beginning with
the colors bright and bold
They say that at the end you will
find a pot of gold
Rainbows only appear across
the skies
after the rain storm has
Passed by
The sun shines through
to give a hue of blue
symbolizing sorrow and a promise
of a brighter tomorrow
Red is for the anger,
the fear and the danger
we all have to tread
A sign of things to come
we donít have to dread
Yellow shows the courage
it took to withstand
Encouraging us to realize we can
Green is for the envy
the storm must feel inside
when seeing the rainbow shine
after its terror has subside
