I see you when you think you can not go another step.
I pick you up and carry you the rest of the way.
I see you when you can not rest at night,
Because your heart is burdened for the sufering of others.
I take the yoke upon my shoulders,
So you can close your eyes and rest at night.
I see you when you are in such terrible physical pain,
That you can not endure.
I am the one that brings the healing and strength,
So you can make another day.
I see you when others laugh at you or call you unkind names,
Or wound your heart with vicious slander.
I take my hand and wipe your tears,
And seal your comfort with loving arms.
I see you when you defend the weak and helpless.
I show you how to lead and comfort them.
I see you when you are so brokenhearted,
That you do not want to live another day.
I send the thoughts to change your mind,
And the healing salve to mend your heart.
I see you when you want to give up and call it quits.
I give you the strength and courage to make another day.
I see you when you go out of your way,
To help another or do what is right.
I gave you the opportunity and the character it took.
So don't forget to thank me and believe in me.
When I come back for you, I can say,
"Enter, my faithful servant for a job weel done."
"After all, I died for you!"
